Horticulture activities increase across Kashmir

JAMMU, JUNE 1(HS) With relaxation in the lockdown restrictions fruit growers have resumed their operations across the Kashmir Valley, strictly following the guidelines and SOPs issued by the government. The offices are working with minimum manpower on rotation basis as per the guidelines, To maintain the plant stock, all horticulture department farms and nurseries are being maintained properly. The department has provided every possible assistance to the fertilizer and pesticide sale outlet so that no hardship is caused to growers . To save the fruit growers from incurring losses due to non-sale of their produce, the department extended every help for smooth movement of vehicles loaded with fruits to the mandis.
