Chapra/Gopalganj,09June (H.S.) An accused of killing a businessman from Patna today escaped from Kateya police station in Gopalganj. He had killed businessman from Patna Anand Sharma on Five June who had come to attend the marriage ceremony of one of his sister in laws. After killing Anand Sharma, the accused Raj Nath Sharma had fled to neighbouring district Siwan from where he was arrested with the help of Siwan police. On six June, Raj Nath Sharma along with his two accomplices was arrested from Noniya Toli at Goreyakothi. Last night he escaped from the bathroom SP Anand Kumar told that probe into the matter has been ordered and erring official would be taken to task. Meanwhile raids are being conducted to nab the escaped criminal. In another incideent , following land dispute, one party threww acid on other party which injured four persons. Injured persons have been sent to hospital for treatment. Incident occurred today morning around 7.30 am. at Amva Mauje village under Kabir Nagar police station. Injured persons have sustained fifty five percent burn injuries. SP said that one of the accused has been arrested and raids are being conducted to nab others. In another matter, CID has received some audio of Kamlakant Prasad, OSD, Kendriya Sipahi Bharti Board. Audio suggests involvement of some high profile persons also. ADG Anil Kishor Yadav is monitoring the case. One of the social workers Ashutosh Pandey said that when he had objected to wrong doings of the then SDPO, he was framed in SC/ST case and he was about to be framed in terrorist connection. He thenm had submitted application before the then SP, and he was saslvaged. SP Veena Kumari told that fair inquiry is being done against the allegations levelled by the wife of Kamlakant and others.
